On EWTN News Nightly tonight: Since the storming of the Capitol building, Democrats, and even some Republicans have said there needs to be consequences for President Donald Trump. Though, Republicans blocked passage of a resolution for the vice president to invoke the 25th Amendment, Democrats in the House now have enough votes to impeach President Trump. Giant social media platforms are silencing President Donald Trump as his days in office are winding down quickly and President-Elect Joe Biden prepares to move into the Oval Office. McCormick professor of jurisprudence and director of the James Madison program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, Robert George, joins to discuss the events that unfolded last week in the nation’s capital and shares how we can come together to fix this, so that we can move beyond politics to real healing, especially for Catholics. And with a Democratic win in Georgia setting up potential abortion funding battles in the Senate, pro-lifers are now keeping an eye on Capitol Hill. Senior D.C. Correspondent at Catholic News Agency, Matt Hadro, joins to discuss the road ahead. Meanwhile, Pope Francis says it is a moral obligation to take the coronavirus vaccine. In a sit-down interview, broadcast on Italian television on Sunday, the Holy Father said those who do not receive the vaccine are playing with their own lives and the lives of others.
