The top Democratic presidential candidates— Joe Biden and Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) — share the same stage for the first time, joined by seven other contenders each vying for the chance to unseat President Trump and win the White House in 2020. Thursday night’s debate showed division among the party’s liberal and more moderate presidential hopefuls and, notably, the group didn’t speak about abortion.
